Build a route before building a spectacle

Start with a continuous entrance-to-endpoint path. Place one piece, walk the join, and confirm the next opening before extending. A short control maze gives you a known-good route; an intricate maze built in one pass gives you many possible failure points and no baseline.

Treat every building as a route component. A room creates space and choices. A corridor controls movement between spaces. The official beginner bundle confirms Empty Room and Flick Corridor as named buildings, but it does not establish their shape, free source, connector count, or comparative value. Read those fields from the current inventory.

A layout is useful when visitors can traverse it, monsters receive real opportunities, and the next expansion remains understandable.

Read visitors as route evidence
